Auditions for Richmond Shakespeare Festival Summer 2018 Season

All roles are available for Macbeth and The Winter’s Tale, playing in Rep. AEA & Non AEA. Some pay for Non AEA actors cast in both shows.  Housing provided for out of town actors (beyond a 30-mile range).  We are also actively seeking college-aged interns for both acting and technical positions. Interns will receive housing and one meal per day on the Earlham campus. Equity Membership Candidacy points available for all actors and stage managers who are not yet Equity.

Please prepare two contrasting classical monologues.  No more than three minutes total. Monologues should be memorized but holding a side is acceptable.

No appointments. Actors will be seen on a first come/first served basis (Equity will receive priority).  Callbacks on the spot with sides provided.  No calls, please.

1st Rehearsal: Tuesday, May 15, 2017
Season Runs: June 15 – July 30, 2017

1. When: Saturday, January 13th, 2018 from 10 AM to 6 PM

If you live within driving distance of Richmond, and/or are willing to provide your own transportation this summer, you may submit a video audition by sending a link to Producing Artistic Director, Patrick Flick at patrick@richmondshakes.org up until February 28, 2017.
